I welcome you all to the School of Technology, wherein Atomic Energy, Defence, Environment and Life Sciences, Space technologies will be integrated to develop promising transdisciplinary academic programs at undergraduate level in Engineering & Technology at Sai university. I am delighted and honoured to take the responsibility of starting the School of Technology at SaiU where we are striving for excellence in the field of engineering. We are beginning our first academic program from 15 July 2025 with B. Tech Biotechnology and B. Tech Environmental Engineering & Sustainability. In an era where the intersection of theoretical knowledge and practical skills is pivotal, SaiU firmly believes in equipping its students with not only a robust academic foundation but also a pragmatic approach to training in problem-solving technical skills. To achieve the above objective, we at Sai University, are delighted to provide an environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and a hands-on learning experience. Our curriculum is designed to be industry-integrated, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to their profession. In the School of Technology, students are not just learners of a subject, nevertheless they are prepared to meet the dynamic demands of our industries. The students are empowered to attain the expertise through intricately designed courses, challenging assignments and real-world experiences. Our goal is to nurture future leaders with a strong ethical foundation and simultaneously be passionate about making a positive impact on mankind. We at SaiU look forward to having candidate students who are aware of the universal and social impacts of engineering solutions and who can apply them in terms of specific competences, towards entrepreneurship and innovation. The School of Technology, aims to train the students as engineers with the implementation skills needed in the current business world. I take pride in the fact that our students will be a testament to the effectiveness of our pedagogy and the pragmatic nature of our curriculum. I extend my best wishes to the faculty and students. The challenge of sustainability involves balancing human needs with the necessity of reducing environmental impacts while maintaining ecological integrity. This field encompasses various disciplines, including natural resource management, energy sciences, climate sciences, and conservation biology, and also considers economic, political, and social factors that affect environmental processes.
