Sai University

The Sai University Act, 2018 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 42 of 2018) is the legislation passed by the Tamil Nadu State Legislature to establish Sai University as a private, unitary university in Paiyanur, near Chennai. Recognised under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, the Act grants Sai University significant academic and administrative autonomy, including control over its curriculum, admissions, and fee structure.
