Suchit Ahuja is Associate Professor, Business Technology Management at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal (Canada). Since 2021, he has been serving as Director of the MSc Program in Business Analytics and Technology Management. Currently, he also serves as the Academic Lead of the Steering Committee of the QuebecBlack Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub hosted at Concordia University.

Suchit received his BSc and MSc degrees in Information Technology from Purdue University, USA. In 2018, he received his PhD degree in Management Information Systems from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, Kingston (Canada). 

Suchit’s research focuses on digital strategy and innovation, digital transformation, digital platforms, frugal digital innovation, and responsible innovation. Suchit has obtained funding for his research from federal and provincial funding agencies such as SSHRC, FRQ, andMitacs. His research has been published in academic and practitioner outlets including Information Systems Journal, Journal of Small Business Management, InformationTechnology for Development, Journal of Community Informatics, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Forbes, The Conversation, and John Molson Perspectives. His research has also been presented at top international conferences including AoM, ICIS, AMCIS, HICSS, PACIS, CCSBE,IEEE, and ACM, and his teaching cases have been published by Ivey Publishing.

Suchithas won the 2021 Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award and the 2023 Excellence in Academic Service Award at the John Molson School of Business. In 2022, he won thePresident’s Excellence in TeachingAward at Concordia University. He has served onprestigious committees such as the Standards Council of Canadaand was a member of theboard of advisors of BizSkills Academy, an EdTech startup in Ontario.He serves on the international advisory boards of several business, engineering, and IT schools in India including Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences(Bengaluru), Woxsen University(Hyderabad), and Poddar Management and Technical Campus(Jaipur).

Suchit serves on the editorial boardsof journals such asOpen Innovation: Technology,Markets, and Complexityand Journal of Small Business Management,and is an AssociateEditor for IEEETransactions onTechnology and Society.
