Sai University successfully hosted the 11th Training Programme on Nuclear Energy and Law from March 9–13, 2026, in collaboration with the Nuclear Law Association of India and MV Kini Law Firm.
The programme brought together over 60 participants, including students, academics, and professionals, for an intensive exploration of nuclear energy law, policy, and regulatory frameworks in India and across the globe.
Sessions were led by distinguished experts from leading national and international institutions such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, Department of Atomic Energy, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, BARC, NPCIL, GIC Re, Larsen & Toubro, and Rosatom South Asia.
A key highlight of the programme was the visit to the Madras Atomic Power Station at Kalpakkam, where participants gained first-hand exposure to reactor operations, safety systems, and India’s nuclear regulatory environment.
The week-long programme fostered meaningful dialogue, interdisciplinary learning, and knowledge exchange, reinforcing Sai University’s commitment to advancing academic engagement in emerging and critical policy domains.
