Sai University Cricket Team Wins Elektra’26 Championship

Sai University proudly celebrates a remarkable sporting achievement as its Cricket Team secured the Winner Title at Elektra’26, hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur.

Held on 23rd, 24th, and 26th February 2026, the tournament witnessed participation from 32 competitive teams. Demonstrating exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork, the Sai University team delivered consistent performances and emerged as champions.

From calculated gameplay to composure under pressure, the team exemplified resilience, coordination, and true sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Their victory stands as a testament to dedication, discipline, and collective effort.

The achievement was further honoured with appreciation from the Honourable Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of SRMIST, making the win even more memorable for the team.
