Sai University Launches First-Ever FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) Club

Chennai, September 2025 – Sai University proudly launched its first-ever FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) Club, marking an important step towards fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and open-source contributions on campus. The launch event brought together students, faculty, and technology enthusiasts to celebrate the spirit of open-source development.
The event was graced by Prof. Ajith Abraham, Vice Chancellor of Sai University, alongside the core student members from the School of Computing and Data Science — Vidhyakshaya Kannan, Aditya K. B, and Sai Pranav. These student leaders will serve as the primary contacts for peers who wish to join the club and engage in open-source projects.
