Sai University Students Join ‘Gen Z High Tea’ to Discuss India’s Future

Sai University representatives joined students from across Chennai for conversations on India’s vision for 2035, evolving careers and future leadership.

Sai University students participated in “Gen Z High Tea: India’s Future Through Young Eyes” on 23 September, hosted by the British High Commission in India in Chennai.

Organised to mark International Youth Day and the upcoming International Day of the Girl, the gathering brought together 100 students from across the city to share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges shaping India’s future.

Sai University representatives worked in cross-disciplinary groups to discuss India’s strategic vision for 2035, the evolution of careers and the impact of technology on future leadership. The discussions encouraged participants to exchange ideas, consider different viewpoints and explore the role young people can play in the country’s development.

The event offered students an opportunity to contribute to conversations beyond the classroom while practising collaboration and thoughtful dialogue with peers from other institutions.

Their participation reflected Sai University’s commitment to encouraging students to engage with wider social and technological questions and contribute their voices to discussions about the future.
