Dr. Vigneshhwaran G as Assistant Professor in the School of Technology. Dr. Vigneshhwaran brings over five years of research and teaching experience in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology, Water Reclamation, Waste Valorization, and Bioenergy. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), Tamil Nadu.
He has received several accolades, including the NITT Budding Researcher Award (2024–25) and recognition for a Top Cited Article in the Water and Environment Journal (Wiley). His research focuses on sustainable functional electrodes and capacitive deionization. He has published six SCI-indexed research articles, authored two book chapters, and holds one granted Indian patent.
Prior to joining Sai University, Dr. Vigneshhwaran served as a Research Scientist at SASTRA Deemed University. At Sai University, he will teach Biotechnology courses and pursue interdisciplinary research in Environmental Biotechnology, Waste Valorization, Water Reclamation, Bioenergy, and Sustainable Technologies.
