Ms. Monika P. is a cardiac and echocardiography professional with strong academic qualifications, clinical expertise, and teaching experience in allied health sciences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Vascular Technology from Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Puducherry (affiliated with Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research) and a Master’s degree in Echocardiography from Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospitals, School of Allied Health Sciences, Puducherry, under Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation.
She has completed extensive clinical training and internships at Vadamalayan Multi-Specialty Hospital, Madurai, Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Allied Health Sciences, and Raju Hospital, Kallakurichi. Her clinical expertise includes performing adult transthoracic echocardiography using M-mode, Color Doppler, PW, CW, and Tissue Doppler Imaging, 12-lead ECG monitoring and rhythm analysis, assisting in cardiac stress testing, hemodynamic assessments, cardiac catheterization procedures, and defibrillation under supervision, with strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols. She has four years of teaching experience, including two years at Vivekananda Medical Care Hospital, Tiruchengode, where she was involved in student training, clinical education, and academic coordination, and two years as a Visiting Faculty at K.S. Rangasamy College of Allied Health Sciences, contributing to lectures, practical sessions, student mentoring, and academic project guidance.
