Mr. S. Sundara Rajan (Sundar) serves as the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer of Sai University. He brings with him over 35 years of experience across both the corporate and higher education sectors, with a distinguished record in university leadership, institutional development, and administration.

In his current role, Mr. Sundar Rajan oversees all non-academic operations of the university, including administration, human resources, finance, infrastructure, and governance. He works closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that Sai University’s systems, policies, and processes are robust, transparent, and aligned with the institution’s mission of academic excellence and global engagement.

Prior to joining Sai University, Mr. Sundar Rajan served as Registrar and Chief of Staff at Krea University, where he supervised all non-academic functions and acted as Member Secretary of statutory bodies, contributing significantly to institutional governance and operational efficiency.

Earlier, he held leadership positions including Registrar and Chief of HR at IFMR, where he was instrumental in strengthening administrative frameworks, HR systems, and institutional planning processes. His professional journey spans decades of experience in both academic institutions and corporate organizations, focusing on policy implementation, people management, and organizational transformation.
