Prof. Sanjay Bang is the Dean, School of Law at Sai University. He is an accomplished legal academic, researcher, and institutional leader with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research supervision, and academic administration. He worked as Associate Professor for 9 years with Christ University in its Central and Lavasa campus as an Associate Professor of Law, he is widely recognized for his contributions to legal education, interdisciplinary research, and policy development.


He holds a Ph.D. in Law (2014) specializing in Judicial Review of Legislative Actions, along with an LL.M. (Criminology and Tort) and an M.A. in Political Science. He has qualified the UGC-NET in Law, Criminology, and Human Rights and Duties. Dr. Sanjay has demonstrated academic leadership across reputed institutions. He has coordinated Internship, Legal Aid, Human Rights and Dissertation Committees and contributed to student governance and institutional quality assurance. He has also served at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, training IAS, IPS, and IFS officers, and at Kundal Academy of Development Administration, training forest officers.


Prof. Bang has an extensive research profile with publications in 11 Scopus-indexed and 2 Web of Science journals, and UGC CARE journals. His research spans Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights, Business Law and Insurance, Forest Laws, and Sports Law in Law. He is the author of 'Judicial Review of Legislative Actions in India' and Chief Editor of 'Vidhijyoti: Knowledge is Law' and 'Vidhi Vimarsh: The Reflection of Law’.

He has contributed to interdisciplinary research integrating AI and legal systems. Under his supervision, 5 Ph.D. scholars have been awarded doctoral degrees, and 2 scholars have submitted their theses and are awaiting defense. He has also guided numerous LL.M. and undergraduate dissertations, emphasizing interdisciplinary and socially relevant research. Innovation and Patents. Prof. Bang is a co-inventor in 4 patent publications focusing on intelligent traffic management, cybercrime systems, and legal-tech solutions. His work reflects integration of law and technology.


He is a Master Trainer for the Right to Information Act, 2005 and Right to Service Act, 2015 and conducted 250 Training sessions of Right to Information Act-2005 for He has delivered over 45 invited lectures, workshops, and FDPs across India and internationally on law, research, and AI.
