She specializes in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Mother Teresa Women’s University. Her contributions to education and research have earned her several awards, including the Best Teacher Award (received for two consecutive years) and the Young Social Research and Service Award. She has authored numerous publications and is a member of prestigious organizations such as the International Neuropsychological Society, the American Psychological Association, and the Indian Academy of Neuroscience. She has held leadership roles within the organizations with which she has been affiliated. Furthermore, she has contributed to multiple national and international projects and provided her expertise through consultancy roles in various sectors. She is the founder of the Child and Adolescent Foundation India (CAAF INDIA), an independent non-governmental research organization dedicated to conducting research and interventions focused on children and adolescents. She has also worked on government and private projects. Hon. Chief Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah is one of the foremost authorities on India’s Constitutional law and human rights and has been honored with the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian honor, in 2004. He served as the 25th Chief Justice of India from 1993 to 1994. Post-retirement, he continued working closely with the Government of India and served as the chairman of the National Human Rights Commission of India from 1996 to 1998.
