Prof. Sanjay Bang is the Dean, School of Law at Sai University. He is an accomplished legal academic, researcher, and institutional leader with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research supervision, and academic administration. He worked as Associate Professor for 9 years with Christ University in its Central and Lavasa campus as an Associate Professor of Law, he is widely recognized for his contributions to legal education, interdisciplinary research, and policy development. He holds a Ph.D. in Law (2014) specializing in Judicial Review of Legislative Actions, along with an LL.M. (Criminology and Tort) and an M.A. in Political Science. He has qualified the UGC-NET in Law, Criminology, and Human Rights and Duties. Dr. Sanjay has demonstrated academic leadership across reputed institutions. He has coordinated Internship, Legal Aid, Human Rights and Dissertation Committees and contributed to student governance and institutional quality assurance. He has also served at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, training IAS, IPS, and IFS officers, and at Kundal Academy of Development Administration, training forest officers. Prof. Bang has an extensive research profile with publications in 11 Scopus-indexed and 2 Web of Science journals, and UGC CARE journals. His research spans Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights, Business Law and Insurance, Forest Laws, and Sports Law in Law. He is the author of 'Judicial Review of Legislative Actions in India' and Chief Editor of 'Vidhijyoti: Knowledge is Law' and 'Vidhi Vimarsh: The Reflection of Law’. He has contributed to interdisciplinary research integrating AI and legal systems. Under his supervision, 5 Ph.D. scholars have been awarded doctoral degrees, and 2 scholars have submitted their theses and are awaiting defense. He has also guided numerous LL.M. and undergraduate dissertations, emphasizing interdisciplinary and socially relevant research. Innovation and Patents. Prof. Bang is a co-inventor in 4 patent publications focusing on intelligent traffic management, cybercrime systems, and legal-tech solutions. His work reflects integration of law and technology. He is a Master Trainer for the Right to Information Act, 2005 and Right to Service Act, 2015 and conducted 250 Training sessions of Right to Information Act-2005 for He has delivered over 45 invited lectures, workshops, and FDPs across India and internationally on law, research, and AI. Sai University Leaders Chancellor Vice Chancellor Chief Operating Officer Dean of School's Chancellor Vice chancellor Academic Deans Admissions Director K.V. Ramani Founder and Chancellor, Sai University Mr. K. V. Ramani, founder and chancellor of Sai University, is one of the pioneers who led the efforts to bring India’s information technology sector to global prominence. He co-founded the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) to assist the growth and development of the IT sector in India. He served as its chairman from 1997 to 1998 and was a member of its executive council for the first 10 years, being re-elected by the members five times over. He received the Founder’s Award at NASSCOM’s silver jubilee celebrations in 2015 for ‘putting India on the Global IT Map.’ Mr. Ramani is currently the chairman and managing director of Digital Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and the founder and managing trustee of Shirdi Sai Trust. A successful technology entrepreneur, he joined IBM as a graduate engineer in 1970 at a time when very few Indians were a part of the IT sector’s talent pipeline. Anticipating the advent of the age of technology, he founded a premier communications technology firm called Future Software in 1985. He co-founded Hughes Software Systems, a telecommunications software company in India, as a joint venture with the US firm Hughes Software in 1990. He has been the charter president of the TiE (The indUS Entrepreneurs), Chennai Chapter, and a member of the governing council of Asia/Pacific I.T. Industry Association (ASOCIO). Additionally, he has worked for the department of electronics as a member of the working group on information technology and as the chairman of the study team on software development and exports for the ninth Five-Year plan during 1996. Between 1988 and 1992, he was the chairman of the software panel, southern region, for the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) under the Ministry of Commerce. He has been honored by Hon. Dr. Kalimuthu Karupannan is the Assistant Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences at Sai University. Assoc. Prof. Anil Annamneedi is the Associate Dean of School of Technology at Sai University. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience, specializing in exploring the synaptic (neuron-neuron communication site) proteins’ contribution towards synaptic maturation and brain functions such as learning and memory, cognition as well as neuropathology. He has more than 8 years of post-PhD experience in Neuroscience research and teaching in domains of neuroscience, biotechnology and genetics across Germany, France and India. Dr. Annamneedi completed his PhD in Neuroscience from Leibniz Institute of Neurobiology (LIN) and was awarded with an academic degree “Dr. rer. nat” by Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany in 2018. He completed the Master of Engineering (M. Eng) in Biomedical Engineering from Martin-Luther University, Halle-Wittenberg and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Koethen, Germany in 2013. During this period, he started his scientific career at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH) in Parkinson's disease research. Prior to this, Dr. Annamneedi also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Human Genetics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India in 2009. During his undergrad education he studied Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Zoology and Biotechnology and was awarded with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from Andhra University in 2007. Dr. Annamneedi has built his research in the field of neuroscience around understanding how genes, synapses, and neural circuits contribute to cognition and neurodevelopmental or neuropsychiatric disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and schizophrenia. Dr. Annamneedi has received laurels as Center for behavioral brain sciences (CBBS) fellow (2019), a research grant and fellowship funded by European Regional Development Fund and Federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. He has also received an institutional seed grant called LINSeeds (2020). Dr. Annamneedi recently received the LE STUDIUM Visiting Researcher Award (2026) to conduct autism research in France. During his tenure as post doctoral researcher at Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology and subsequently at Otto-von-Guericke University (Germany), his research further deepens the understanding of synaptic signaling role during neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism. Further, at CNRS and INRAe research institute in France, his contributions as a post doctoral researcher are valuable in exploring the therapeutic potential of GPCR proteins in treating the autism symptoms. In his previous stint, he has been an integral part of the University accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, particularly those related to NAAC. He is a highly respected media educator, media researcher, and one of the pioneers of digital journalism with more than 25 years of experience within both international news organizations and in higher education leadership positions.
