About Education Research Interests Major Works Dr. Mariya Celin T A Assistant Professor PhD from Anna University, Chennai. Dr. Mariya has 2.5 years of experience in Teaching and has worked across the domain including Speech Processing, Machine Learning and Text Processing. Dr. Mariya has done her PhD from Anna University, Chennai. She has published a speech corpus called SSN-TDSC in the Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC) hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. She has a patent granted for her PhD work that includes developing a speech assistive aid for cerebral palsy. She has several publications particularly in journals such as IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing and IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Engineering. She began her career with Sri Sivasubramanya Nadar College of Engineering as Project-JRF. Subsequently, she joined Vel Tech University and associated with the Department of Electronica and Communication before joining Sai University. In her career span she has been associated with handling subjects like Machine Learning, Data Science and Visualisation, Deep Learning. Also, she has conducted and delivered hands-on sessions on developing speaker identification systems at the University for a two-days Workshop. She has also been a mentor for a PhD scholar at the University of Romania from 2022. Dr. Mariya will be responsible for the subject of Natural Language Processing and Computer Organization and Architecture in SCDS at Sai University.
